    The Post Office Protocol - Version 3 (POP3) is intended to permit a workstation to dynamically access a maildrop on a server host in a useful fashion.  Usually, this means that the POP3 protocol is used to allow a workstation to retrieve mail that the server is holding for it.

    We must has an email supporting POP3 to synchronize information through MyFolderAnywhere.

         

         Two way to config POP3 setting

         1. Follow the install guide.

         2.Open the main window, click Option button, select POP3 tab to get the pop3 property page

 Key concept

         Your email:  define an email you want to store the changing information.

         Incoming mail server(POP3): your pop3 server address, more POP3 server like ‘pop3. yoursite.com’,  you can get it from your email provider.

         Port: POP3  port, default value is 119.

         The Server need SSL Encrypt: some email provider support SSL for security reason.  Let it uncheck if you don’t sure your email support it.

         Account:  the email account, like ‘ This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ’.

         Password: password to login your email.
